Laura has done a wide variety of educational projects including workshops for the London Philharmonic Orchestra educational days with Ellen Thompson (educational officer for the Royal Albert Hall). She has also worked for the N.F.M.S. doing musical workshops with disadvantaged children and adults. Laura has led workshops for Camden Music Centre, Teignmouth Community College as well as workshops on composition and writing music for film in many schools and colleges across the UK.

Laura was chosen last year to be a guest speaker at the International conference for philosophy and literature in Leeds where she spoke about her scores for 'Silent Shakespeare' alongside other speakers such as Leonard Whiting. Laura also spoke about her music for the 1917 film The 'Battle of the Ancre' at the Imperial War Museum alongside composer Neil Brand, and Toby Haggith and Roger Smither from the museum.
